Sweet Rest

Today was a lovely day of resting.  We slept in and then spent some time in the Word after breakfast.  Our cooks treated us today with Pizza Hut!  It was a treat both for them and for us.  This afternoon brought the opportunity for some of the team to be able to help out the medical team that will be leaving out tomorrow.  They were able to work in the pharmacy counting out vitamins.  When they returned to the team, they were so excited for the time they had been able to work with Jack, the pharmacist on staff here, sharing their stories of what God has been doing in Nicaragua and in their lives.

This evening, Jordan (Team Director) brought us a teaching on the body of Christ.  The students really engaged in good discussion following the teaching.   Please pray for us tomorrow as we participate in worship with several different churches, having the opportunity to share both the drama and from the Word.  The students were thankful for the rest, but they are excited to get back out there tomorrow.

Following Him,

Kenny & Whitney

Jordan! I was excited to hear that you were teaching. Thank you for being faithful and available! I’m so proud of you in allowing God to work through you. One of the verses I have been praying for all the leadership on the teams is 2 Timothy 2:15- Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. Jordan- I can’t wait to see you and hear about what God has done. Stay strong this last week in country. Love ya.

Love reading updates//seeing pictures! Beautiful country, beautiful people, beautiful workers! Ryan, I miss you, dear, and I am so proud of everything you are doing. Your heart for children shines. Your string people appear to have been sleeping on the job in one of the pictures. Can’t wait to hear all of your wonderful stories.
