Ending Strong

Our teams had a great morning of ministry at two schools, a pulga, and a colonia. This afternoon the students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture by going shopping in the markets. Today has been a spiritually encouraging day, and you will understand why after your read these stories.

Team Juan

Today for our second ministry site, we went to a colonia. As the students went out to invite people to the drama, they noticed shrines in front of one of the houses. They begin to ask the interpreter what the shrines were for. We were told that the people worship the dead and wanted nothing to do with Christianity.  As we set up to perform the drama, the students looked out to see the people from the house had come to watch. After the net was cast, one of the ministry teams went to speak with them. As they began to share what God has done, the Holy Spirit began a work in them and they decided to trust Jesus with their lives.

Team Bueno

We were allowed to go back to the school where we performed yesterday and WOW, we could not believe what happened after we performed. We had students running down the stairs to talk to us about what our drama meant, and our team responded in amazing ways. They began sharing the gospel with the students and saw around 50 people begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Lord was working in incredible ways. God had this opportunity planned even when we didn’t. The students were so encouraged to have this incredible story for their last day of ministry, and we are so blessed that God allowed us to see those students come to know Him!

See you soon,

Brilliant to hear of the family turning to Jesus, and of so many students at the school ready to come to Him – I pray y’all will go on knowing the Lord working in you and through you as you return home – way to go!!!
